Maybe on how you paint your portraits/pieces? Maybe not a full on detailed way, but perhaps a basic way on what you do to achieve getting a piece done. I personally have been having great complications with coloring (as stupid as it sounds), and I want to practice more about detail and painting portraits in general. I've been attempting to practice a lot, but I seem to get nowhere.
Since you're so good at faces, I think you might do tutorials on drawing noses, ovals, skintones... I don't know. I'm not really that great at art. I just wish I had the courage to stop doing all other things I'm wasting my free time in and start practicing, and seeing you being that good I can only think "I'm twice her age and I haven't done a thing to put the time I've been living to any use".
I changed idea, can you do a tutorial aimed to convince other people to force me to practice?
I'd like to know what brushes you like to use and figuring out poses. I've taken a huge break from drawing and have just recently started again, but I'm wanting to try new things as I'm not completely happy with my current process (I tend to get too focused on tiny details ) Thanks
Well, I can help you with brushes right now! I mainly use the "one edge" brush from Jonas De Ros set, as well as "square", "good" and "evil" from the Sephiroth-Art set^^ Both sets are free, you should easily find them by googling the names. I also frequently use the standard photoshop hard and soft round brushes.
I'll see if I can make a tutorial on my painting process then, a few other people have asked about it as well<: I suck at poses so I won't make a tutorial on that, but using reference always makes it easier in my experience. I recommend SenshiStock!
Thank you, I often use SenshiStock! as a starting point. I find anatomy is the easier part for me, I just need to apply more into getting the detailing at a good stage (I often forget areas and focus too much on others >_<) I currently only use a custom brush I made myself and sometimes the photoshop hard brush, I'll check out the other brushes. Thank you again for replying
